​ This story follows Meg and her brother Charles Wallace as they adventure through space and time to find their missing father. Every other character was included in the ensemble which functioned like a Greek Chorus. 

​

This production was set in the modern day and toured throughout community Elementary Schools. Due to this the design was heavily influenced by the need to add layers due to limited dressing room access. 

​

The mysterious witches who help the kids on their journey were particularly fun to design. Mrs. Whatsit is a cottage core inspired, blanket stealing character. Mrs. Who who is fond of literature has a waist piece that features different books from which she quotes, as well as others. Mrs. Which who has trouble finding her earthly form, has a costume that lights up like a galaxy or a starry night.

​Pieces constructed by designer include: Mrs. Whatsit's wings and apron,  handsewn lights in Mrs. Which, and light rigging for the Red-Eyed Man.
